What We Do
StandWithUs Discover introduces its guests to Israel from up-close and encourages them to learn about the country first-hand by engaging with its incredible history, rich culture, and diverse people. From online live tours that bring Israel to participant’s living rooms to tours and delegations in person, we empower people across the world to learn about Israel and share their personal perspectives and experiences with their friends, family, and followers.
StandWithUs Israel’s tourism department — provides visitors to Israel with an up-close, first-person experience of the country. Our guests are tourists looking to explore off of the beaten track, students who want to understand the conflict, and influencers who we bring to share their discovery of Israel with their followings. On expertly planned day tours, missions, and delegations throughout the country, Discover explores Israel with over 1k people every year, and enables guests to learn more about Israel’s story — while empowering them to share their unique perspective and impressions with colleagues, friends, and family back home.
Meet the Team
Yoni Zierler is the StandWithUs director of tourism and leading field educator. Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Yoni immigrated to Israel for his last year of high school and then served, with excellence, in the IDF’s Kfir Brigade as an infantry squad commander. Upon completing his service, Yoni enrolled in the official Ministry of Tourism tour guide course to better understand the connection that drew him to Israel at such a young age. Since passing the rigorous Ministry exams, he has dedicated his work to sharing Israel with visitors of all backgrounds – from college students and families to personalities like Harvey Keitel and Alan Dershowitz. Yoni is happily married to Yochi and the proud father of Golan Noam and Klil Eden.

StandWithUs empowers and energizes students and communities with leadership training and educational programs on hundreds of college campuses, high schools, and middle schools. StandWithUs informs and influences public opinion through social media, print and digital materials, film, weekly newsletters and missions to Israel.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Los Angeles, the organization has chapters in five continents, including the US, Israel, UK, Canada and Brazil. StandWithUs has consistently received the highest ratings from Charity Navigator (4 stars) and Guidestar (Platinum) and is a U.S registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit and Section 46 charity (Israel).
